Karoline Leavitt said she plans to return to MAGA Inc., the pro-Trump super PAC, after she wraps up her role as White House press secretary at the end of August.

Leavitt shared the news on Friday after reporters asked her whether she would work for the political action committee. She replied that she would, though she did not specify what position she would hold.

Trump has not named Leavitt's replacement, though there has been speculation about who with take on the position. When asked about the search, he said he has received an unusually large number of applications for the job.
Leavitt announced earlier this month that she would step down from her role as White House press secretary to spend more time with her family following the birth of her second child. Trump said she would remain one of his top outside advisers and an influential voice within the Republican Party.
The 28-year-old became the youngest White House press secretary in history when Trump began his second term in January 2025.
Leavitt previously worked for MAGA Inc. from 2022 to 2024 before joining Trump's presidential campaign. The group is expected to play a major role in supporting Trump-backed candidates and Republican efforts ahead of the November midterm elections.
MAGA Inc. is a super PAC, meaning it can raise and spend unlimited sums of money to influence elections, but cannot legally coordinate directly with candidates' official campaigns.
