MCARTHUR, Ohio — A pre-trial hearing scheduled for Thursday for Gary Siders Jr. on misdemeanor indecent exposure charges has been continued a second time.
Siders Jr., 36, faces four, fourth-degree misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure in Vinton County, according to court records.
The charges filed under Ohio Revised Code Section 2907.09A1, allege Siders Jr. exposed his private parts in an incident occurring May 23.
His case was originally set for a pre-trial hearing July 9 before the court continued it to July 23. The hearing has since been continued a second time to 10 a.m. Aug. 13 in Vinton County Court.
Siders Jr. is also the defendant in another separate criminal case, with 16 charges of felony child endangerment following the removal of 16 children from their home in Hamden, Ohio.
He is one for four relatives charged in the child endangerment case, the others being Gary Sr., Christina and Elizabeth Siders.
Court records in Siders Jr.’s indecent exposure case show an inactive warrant issued June 30.
Authorities have said they were at the Siders’ Ohmer Street home for a “parallel investigation,” but have not disclosed whether the warrant in the indecent exposure case is connected to the child endangerment case.
